The Equity Conference will take place from March 10-13, 2024 at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver. Accepted participants will be provided with detailed information on union leave, travel, accommodations and child care, and will need to secure union book-off from your employer for the duration of the conference (you can contact your Shop Steward for information on how to do this).
There are limited spots for the Equity Conference and not all applications will be accepted. You will be notified by February 12, 2025 about whether or not you've been accepted. Priority will be given to members who have not yet gotten the experience to attend an Equity Conference.
The application form below includes a candidate submission section for those interested becoming an Equity Standing Committee member. If you would like to be considered for appointment or election for an Equity Standing Committee, please read this information about the appointment and election process.
The deadline to apply for the Equity Conference is: January 31, 2025 (5:00 pm PST).
