The union has revised the process of membership recruitment for HEU representatives, administrative assistants, IT and maintenance staff. In order to address the recruitment needs of the union in a more timely way, the new process eliminates the restriction of an annual posting. HEU will now post job opportunities for members on an “as needed” basis.

We anticipate that job opportunities will be posted more frequently with this process. The postings for job opportunities for members will continue to be distributed through the Action Agenda. This process will replace the Annual Work Opportunity.

Administrative Assistant

WE ARE LOOKING TO BUILD up our staff team with people who have the courage and commitment to help our members win in the workplace and in the community.

We currently have openings for casual administrative assistants at our Burnaby, Kelowna, Nelson, Prince George, and Victoria offices. We are seeking applications from HEU members with extensive administrative experience to fill these casual positions.
