Description
Applications are now closed.

The courses offered at the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) Pacific Region Winter School help to develop and build understanding for our activists while developing links with other union activists, which, in turn, makes HEU a stronger and better union.

The 2026 CLC Pacific Region Winter School takes place over five weeks from, January 11 to February 13, 2026 at Harrison, BC.

Each course is one (1) week in duration and runs from Sunday to Friday. A schedule and course descriptions are attached for your reference.

Members selected will be attending one week-long course only. HEU will cover the cost of registration, meals, transportation, per diem (travel day only), wages, and single accommodation for a limited number of participants.

Please note that some courses have prerequisites required by CLC.  For others, such as arbitration or bargaining, HEU will only consider applicants for these advanced or specialized courses depending on local experience.
