Introduction to Equity

A two-day workshop open to all HEU members who want to achieve social and economic justice for workers.

This course will examine the factors which lead to oppression and inequity. Members will learn how to organize for change to achieve social and economic justice for all workers.

The course includes: 

• an overview of common equity and social justice terminology
• a review of current events and case studies
• a discussion on self-identity and labels
• strategies to move equity issues forward
