Health care providers, people with disabilities advocates to call for improved rehab services for British Columbians The Hospital Employees' Union, joined by the B.C. Coalition of People with Disabilities, will hold a noon-news conference to launch a campaign to halt the proposed closure of the G.F. Strong Centre, a tertiary rehabilitation facility for the entire province, and to call for a government review of the state of rehabilitation and maintenance services for people with disabilities in B.C. Strong's services to the site of George Pearson Centre. The campaign will be focussed on improving rehab services for British Columbians.
