Housing Committee
The Housing Subcommittee makes recommendations to and advises the Provincial Executive on:
- Resources for HEU members on housing regulations, laws, and issues;
- Supporting lobbying and campaign objectives aimed at the federal, provincial and local governments to both build and support the development of safe and affordable housing and to create renter protection; and
- Building awareness of housing and tenant organizations in advocating for affordable housing, enhanced tenant protections, and/or supporting individuals experiencing homelessness.
