This two-day intermediate course is for shop stewards currently dealing with grievances and contract enforcement. To apply, you must have at least three days of shop steward training and at least 12 months of experience handling grievances.
You’ll learn how to:
- Build upon your knowledge of the collective agreement
- Foster confidence in enforcing the collective agreement and member rights
- Better understand the Duty to Accommodate
- Practice skills for dealing with member to member conflict
