HEU’s current Ethics Commissioner is Jess Hadley, a respected labour and employment lawyer, mediator and investigator. HEU appointed Jess as Ethics Commissioner for a two-year term beginning on October 20, 2025.
With more than two decades of experience, Jess specializes in resolving workplace issues of discrimination, bullying, harassment, and other misconduct. She is known for her integrity and ability to create fair, trauma-informed processes, and is dedicated to supporting a healthy, transparent and accountable leadership culture for HEU.
